Celebration of The Shoe Salon On Two last week
Last week (Thursday, September 12th) Leah Chavie attended Nieman Marcus on Michigan Ave and Splash magazine’s celebration of the grand opening of The Shoe Salon On Two (located at 737 N Michigan Ave).
In attendance was Chicago Native and “Real Housewives of Miami” star Joanna Krupa.
The evening consisted of Smirnoff Sorbet light cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while viewing the latest fall collections.

Macy’s Glamorama and Woods Family Foundation Wiffle for a Diffle
Last week Leah Chavie and friends attended 2 wonderful events: Macy’s Passport presents 2013 Galmorama After Party; and Woods Family Foundation Wiffle for a Diffle.
The Glamorama After Party themed “fashion in a new light”, benefited Ronald McDonald House Charities for the 5th year in a row and featured a live performance by Cirque du Soleil.
The Wiffle for a Diffle Celebrity Tournament included, a celebrity captian for each corporate team, hitting in the Home Run Derby, and playing in the Wiffle for a Diffle celebrity game under the lights at Wrigley.
The Wood Family Foundation prides itself as an advocate for Chicago area children, providing support not just on a one-time basis but through long-term relationships with kids and their communities, ensuring the consistency and the emotional structure they need to succeed.

On Monday, July 29th in New York, Repechage hosted an annual Conference and President’s Award Luncheon. The conference titled “Science and Nonsense: Hear from the Experts and Get the Facts” was led by Repechage CEO and Founder Lydia Sarfati along with a panel of industry experts including Leah Chavie. The conference included presentations and demonstrations, a President’s Awards luncheon, and new product introductions.

Leah Chavie and friends attended An Evening with the Israel Idonije Foundation at Sunda New Asian Restaurant on Thursday, July 11th. All event proceeds went to benefit the Israel Idonije Foundation (IFF) youth programs, which bring social and emotional development to communities in Chicago, Winnipeg and Kobedi Village, Ghana.
