2 Events: Cheeky Chicago 5 Year Party and CS Cusp Opening at Neiman Marcus

This was a busy week in Chicago’s fashion and editorial scene. First Cheeky Chicago celebrated their 5th anniversary followed by the CUSP event at Neiman Marcus. Leah and friends were in attendance along with some very familiar faces.

Getting ready for a wedding can be a major stress especially when you are trying to balance a talk show too. A week after we got engaged my smile might have showed the excitement, however my skin displayed some stress. I honestly have never had bad skin, but after one breakout that was enough for me. I immediately signed up for Leah Chavie’s “Skin Bridal Boot Camp” and have not looked back. We have done several treatments that are helping out my hyper pigmentation, eliminating breakouts and giving me the perfect wedding glow.

Last month Leah and the fabulous ladies at Leah Chavie Skincare Center & Boutique attended a fundraiser presented by Little Jack Marketing and PR benefiting PAWS Chicago and included an evening of wine & whiskey tasting.
From Little Jack:
At the Suite Lounge in Old Town, we got to experience what a real speakeasy must have felt like hiding from the cops when the power suddenly turned off because of the inclement weather that day. Thankfully, our spirits remained unflagged for the treacherous 5 minutes it took until the power came back on, an event we met with a healthy round of applause.
We were proud to team up with Wirtz Beverage, who graciously let us taste many whiskeys, including Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel and Woodford Reserve (the special Double Oak version too!). Meanwhile, Fetzer stepped up to the challenge with a wide selection of their organically and sustainably grown wines.
